Story Time at the Shelter (Kids 5 and under)

The animal shelter is excited to announce a new Children’s Story Time Program designed to inspire, educate and encourage young animal lovers through stories and creative activities.
Each session will include:
• Animal-themed stories
• Education about animals and proper pet care
• A fun craft activity to take home
Starting June 16th programs will be held weekly at the shelter:
Tuesdays | 1:00–2:00 PM
For children ages 5 and under
Thursdays | 1:00–2:00 PM
For children ages 6–10
These interactive groups are a wonderful opportunity for children to build compassion for animals, learn about responsible pet care, and enjoy a fun afternoon at the shelter.
Important Allergy Notice:
Peanut butter is used throughout the shelter for animal enrichment and treats.
No pre-registration required! We look forward to welcoming young readers and future animal advocates to the shelter!
