About this Event
Fall Story Time & Stone Soup Puppet Show with Author Deborah L. Orr
Bring the whole family to the Carver Library for a morning of stories and hands-on making. Best for ages 4–12.
Author Deborah L. Orr will lead a fall-themed story time featuring The Selfish Squirrel, followed by a lively Stone Soup puppet show. After the show, participants will roll up their sleeves and create their own hands-on crafts inspired by what they just heard and saw. Older kids can make nail art.
It’s part literacy, part art, and all hands-on. Kids get to hear a story read aloud by the person who wrote it, watch it come to life with puppets, then make something they can hold, show off, and take home.
Nail art will be available for the older youth.
