This is one for the history books!
For those who need an introduction, Apex HiFi (formally known as Revelation 2000 and King Revelation) are a legendary Cambridge-based Reggae and Dub sound system celebrating 25 years this year! A diverse, community-run sound system (male/female, mixed heritage & backgrounds) who have hosted icons like Sugar Minott, Gregory Isaacs, Eek-A-Mouse, Johnny Osborne, Dawn Penn to legends like Channel One Sound System, Mungo’s HiFi, Iration Steppas and many more! They’ve also featured on BBC One and just so you know—they’re hosting Horace Andy in Cambridge the weekend before rolling through to us. Not bad, eh?
Apex HiFi are known for bringing uplifting vibrations “for the people, by the people” on their custom-built rig with heavyweight bass, crystal clear tops and some serious dubwise selections!
What to expect:
– ? Reggae, dub, roots, ska, rocksteady, dancehall, rub-a-dub, steppas & beyond! All killas, no fillers.
