Get excited for our next 🔥🦴💪 STORRC event: a consultant-led Journal Club focused on developing practical skills in research appraisal and academic discussion! 💭
In this session, teams will present a paper selected by their guiding consultants to the wider group. Each presentation will cover the study design, key findings, strengths, limitations, and clinical relevance of the paper. The papers will be released ahead of time.
We plan to form 2-3 teams, each consisting of 3 students. Other members can attend by simply clicking "Going" for this event, so we can estimate attendance.
This is a great opportunity to practice interpreting research, understand how consultants approach critical appraisal, and build confidence in discussing papers in a supportive environment.
