Step into the wild beauty of the sea in this moody, movement-filled stoneware workshop. In this relaxing class, you’ll create a loaf pan inspired by stormy coastlines, crashing waves, deep ocean blues, and the swirling movement of water during a summer storm.
Using specialty flux glazes, we’ll guide you through a simple layering technique that allows colors to flow, blend, and shift during firing. Stormy blues, seafoam tones, silvery movement, and inky depths melt together to create dramatic ocean-inspired patterns that feel alive with motion.
No experience is needed. This class is all about embracing the unpredictability of the kiln, playing with layered color, and creating something that feels pulled straight from the sea.
