The Bastille to Host “Storm The Bastille” on July 14
Bastille Day party also marks the downtown Detroit bar’s 1 Year Anniversary
The Bastille will celebrate Bastille Day and its 1 Year Anniversary with “Storm The Bastille” on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at 232 Grand River Ave. in downtown Detroit.
The Bastille will open at 4 p.m., as it does every Tuesday. The celebration will pick up later in the evening with live music beginning at 9 p.m., followed by French house, disco, Euro dance, and late-night bar music.
The event is a casual Bastille Day party and anniversary gathering for the bar. Guests can expect music, drink specials, and a few simple midnight moments to mark the occasion.
The night will include a baguette & butter bar with baguette slices, butters, jams, and cheeses. At midnight, the bar will offer Macarons at Midnight, followed by a room-wide Champagne Toast.
Guests are encouraged to Dress To Revolt if they would like, with Parisian-inspired looks, berets, silk scarves, vintage pieces, or anything that fits the Bastille Day theme. A best dressed prize will be awarded during the midnight portion of the night.
