Stories Without Shame: Community Circle
About this Event
Many of us carry a story we struggle to say out loud. Not because it isn't important, but because somewhere along the way we learned it was safer folded up and put away.
: Community Circle is a 90-minute in person creative workshop for anyone ready to look at their story differently, and maybe even find the strength that's been hiding inside it.
Hosted in a private room at a local pub, with pastries and hot drinks included, this is a guided creative session, not a performance and not therapy.
You'll be given pens and paper (bring your own notebook too if you'd rather) and led through some creative prompts. Each exercise is followed by quiet writing/drawing/making time and an invitation, never an obligation, to share with those on your table or the room.
And for those who do decide to share part of their story, we ask all attendees to be judgment free. You can find our Code of Conduct here.
