Learn how to share your personal experiences with fire, smoke, and climate change. In this two-day workshop, the editors of the University of Victoria’s Climate Disaster Project will teach you the trauma-informed process they have used to create powerful first-person testimonies that have been published by Reader’s Digest, the Royal BC Museum, and The Tyee. In doing so, you can help show the world that climate change isn’t something that’s far away. Instead, it’s something close at hand that’s affecting each of us in countless ways: from the smoke that keeps us indoors during the summer to the blazes that have taken so many homes away.
