About the event
Hello Walkers
We are coming back this coming Sunday. This time we are going to Tughlaqabad Fort. Tughlaqabad is considered to be the third extant city of Delhi after Lal Kot and Siri. Ghiyasuddin Tughlaq had dreamt of raising a city from those days. During his short reign built Tughlaqabad the second fortified city spanning nearly 6.5 km over only four years. Tughlaqabad located along Mehrauli-Badarpur Road stands on a high outcrop of rock towards the south-eastern edge of Delhi. This fort was cursed by Delhi's famous Sufi Saint Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya by said this "Rahe Ujad Yaa Base Gujjar". We will discuss each monument and dynasty in detail.
