Join us at Sandstone Art Gallery to see my new body of work which invites viewers into the sun-drenched rhythms of life along the Southern California coast—a place where memories are made in the sand and stories unfold between sea and sky. This collection celebrates the playful spirit of beach life: children digging with red buckets, colorful umbrellas casting lively shadows, and seabirds dancing at the water’s edge. While the subject matter is rooted in familiar coastal scenes, the true voice of this series emerges through my use of vibrant color and expressive brushwork. Each painting captures not just a moment, but a mood—a flicker of childhood wonder, the warmth of the sun, or the hush just before a crashing wave. These works are painted from both life and memory, guided by an emotional response to light, shape, and movement.
