Stories & Sprinkles

Children will first enjoy an engaging storytime facilitated by Children's Book Bank, featuring imaginative tales that inspire a love of reading and learning.

After storytime, the fun continues with a hands-on cupcake decorating activity led by St James Town Community Corner, where kids can decorate their own delicious treats with colourful icing and toppings. This family-friendly event is a wonderful opportunity for children to explore storytelling, creativity, and community in a warm and welcoming environment.

Each interactive session will feature vibrant stories celebrating multiculturalism brought to life by Book Bank volunteers through expressive read-alouds and audience participation. These storytimes are designed to foster community through the joy of storytelling. Although this event is catered towards children 9 and under, older children who enjoy younger content are welcome to join as well.

Accessibility: Chairs will be available to attendees. The daycare is located up a flight of stairs.
