Stop Violent Crime in our Neighborhood

Description: Over the past year, we have seen a significant rise in shootings, burglaries, and other violent crimes, many of which have been well-documented in news reports, SPD crime data, and public safety meetings. These crimes are not isolated incidents—residents are dealing with regular gunfire, break-ins, and violent altercations at all hours. The fear level in our community is at an all-time high, and we need a concrete plan of action to ensure the safety of our families, neighbors, and businesses.

We'll have a top line review of what's been happening in our neighborhood and proposals for immediate action to interupt this increasing cycle of violent criminal activity.

We are asking the city for more policing in our neighborhood and joining our neighboring communities in hiring private security to patrol our area.
