About this Event

Traumatic injuries are often sudden and unexpected. They can occur due to falls, accidents, and intentional violence. Learning how to Stop the Bleed can help increase the chances of survival following traumatic injury. Join us to practice bleeding control techniques led by experts from North Memorial Health Hospital Trauma Center.

A note on course content: The Stop the Bleed course includes discussion and scenario based training surrounding topics that participants may find disturbing or traumatic. These topics may include, but are not limited to, bleeding, open wounds, and acts of violence resulting in severe injuries. If need be, participants are encouraged to emotionally prepare themselves to feel present and ready to engage with the material.
