Join Us for a fun workshop on how stop motion animation is created. This class will challenge creativity as kids will be asked to make a stop motion film using Legos. Frame by frame they will build a small set and create a story. They will use a smartphone and the stop animation app. After capturing their story, they will edit the photos into a short animation to show all their friends and family.
Stop Animation is an animated filmmaking technique in which objects are physically manipulated in small increments between individually photographed frames so that they will appear to exhibit independent motion or change when the series of frames is played back.
This is an immersive fun class designed to show kids how to utilize their camera and a small space to make a short story.
Please register early, within 5 days of the start date, to reduce the likelihood of course cancellation.
