There's often a moment before speaking when overthinking kicks in, your body tightens, nerves take over, or you forget what you intended to say. Or your mind starts to loop with thoughts like, "What if they judge me?" "What if they don't like what I have to say?" "What if I mess up?" Whether it's giving a work presentation, recording a video, or stepping in front of a crowd, you are not alone in feeling this way.

Stop Holding Back; Start Owning Your Voice is an interactive workshop designed to help women move through moments just like these. This isn't your typical public speaking workshop. This isn't about memorizing what to say, doing "power poses," box breathing, swapping fear for excitement, or getting speaking reps in. This is about creating awareness around where fears of public speaking stem from, interrupting those fears, and learning how to rewire yourself to feel safe internally to speak with confidence and presence.

When we learn how to rewire ourselves to feel safe internally to speak, public speaking confidence becomes possible for ANYONE, even the most introverted of introverts or those who have been practicing for years but still feel nauseous when speaking.

Through guided exercises, real-time practice, and a safe, supportive community, you'll begin to shift your relationship with public speaking and being seen, so speaking no longer feels like something you fear, but instead empowers you to be even more you. Adency Selena is a Speaking Confidence Speaker & Coach. Her passion for helping people own their voice stemmed from her own struggles to feel confident and worthy of being seen and heard. Through an inside-out approach rooted in rewiring for internal safety to be seen and overcoming fear of judgment, she supports people who know it's time to stop holding back and start owning their voice. She is dedicated to helping people transform from self-conscious to self-confident so they can speak confidently on camera, on stage, and in everyday life.

Adency is an award-winning speaker, international coach, and creator of the Freedom to Speak Up Framework. She has spoken in a variety of rooms, including the 2025 Creators Conference, the Toastmasters District 48 Conference, Lifelong Learners of Tampa Bay, Lean In, the Ryan Nece Foundation, and St. Pete Counseling. She is committed to helping others own their voice and has empowered multiple audiences to communicate with confidence in any room.

Outside of coaching and speaking, you can find Adency searching out the best sushi spots, in a hammock watching the dolphins at Vinoy, guiding intuitive dance workshops, or lying in the grass, sprawled out in a park, soaking up some nature.
