Hey girl, remember friendship bracelets, double dutch , getting our hair braided on the stoop, and chasing after ice cream trucks?

Join us for a cozy and creative afternoon hang celebrating black girl summer nostalgia through junk journaling and guided prompts. Let's spend some time with our inner little selves while filling our journals with washi tape, stickers, throwback ephemera, and all of our memories.

All skills are welcome. All supplies will be provided but feel free to bring your junk journal goodies if you have it. Come with your childhood imagination and leave with a really dope junk journal.

What's included:

• One blank journal and a pen
• guided journal prompts inspired by black girl summers
• Junk journaling supplies (you can also bring your own)
• a mini ephemera kit that you can use during our hang and take home with you.

Please note that the event will take place in the outdoor patio with plenty of shade towards back of the restaurant. If there is rain, no worries we will have the event inside of the cafe!
