Come celebrate the ancient practice of decorating an evergreen tree by making cute little miniatures that represent your life! Enjoy yourself with this little bite of clay creativity. You can make traditional Christmas ornamnets or make funny, cheeky little tokens of all your favorite things! You can make anything miniature! These are SO cute!
In this mini clay handbuilding class, we'll be using speckled and black stoneware clay to make adorable miniatures, then painting with colored underglazes. You can add the black hanging wire, or leave it off if you want to use the miniatures in display.
They get bisqued fired once, then I will glaze them for you with a matte black patina to antique them to bring out textures, then fire them again to stone-ware - so they will be very durable.
They'll be ready to pick up from the studio in about 2-3 weeks from class. Except the final classes - I will aim to get a quick turnaround so you can hang them of offer them as gifts on the 25th.

CLASS MINIMUM: Five people must be registered for the class to run. Please do share with friends! I tend to cancel classes 7 days ahead if the minimums have not been met, so don't wait until the last minute to register.
AGE/ABILITY: Great for beginners to pottery. For adult learners, and children 12+ attending with a registered adult. 14+ can attends alone.

If you are unable to attend, please pass your ticket on to a friend. You can check in with me to see if their is a waitlist I can offer your ticket to. Transfers are not permitted within a week of class time.

WHEN TO ARRIVE:
Please plan to arrive 10 minutes before class in order to find parking and make it to the studio on time.
Sadly, we cannot accommodate people who arrive late. Because this class is SO short, I need to start right at class time, rather than waiting for stragglers.
Demos start promptly at the start of class time.Due to the structure of class, demos cannot be re-done for late-comers without cutting things out of class for everyone.
