Yessi is a DJ, composer, audio engineer, and artist who has contributed to films, multi-channel installations, sound design & scoring for moving image. Her expansive practice in sound also encompasses production, live electronic sets, installation, film scoring, field recording, and DIY organizing. Across these projects, she explores sound as a source of power, disruption, and resilience within queer + diaspora communities. Currently based in Los Angeles, Yessi put down her DJ roots in the underground scenes of Houston and Pittsburgh, where she created the Dyspheric collective with MIRA MIRA & XC-17. Behind the booth, her style is playful, unpredictable, and unapologetically freaky—blending her diverse influences with dissonant textures, restless rhythms, tripped out FX, and abstract turntablism techniques.
Glitter Skulls is perhaps best known for his iconic hand-crafted Forest City Soundsystem, functioning as both an art installation that's as significant as the artists featured at his events, and as an audio platform built to amplify electronic music genres like techno, acid, house, and futuristic club music.
aparece is a Peruvian-American DJ and record collector based in Ithaca, New York. Her selections span disco, house, techno, jazz, tropical music, and R&B, with special attention to futuristic Latin American sounds of the 80s and 90s. She is known for her uplifting sets and unique sensitivity, seeking to transport the listener: to femme fantasy, to unexpected connection, to love and embodiment.
