Stolen Lives Day Memorial Art Build

Every year, our Stolen Lives Day includes a Family Memorial Showcase, a gallery of artistic remembrance expressions honoring loved ones whose lives were stolen. This year we are removing barriers so familes can access art supplies to make their memorials. Join us for our Family Memorial Art Build, hosted by Prosperme Inc's Prosperity Across Colors Program and Milwaukee Alliance Against Racist & Political Repression at the Milwaukee Public Library Washington Park Makerspace. We are grateful for their partnership and excited to have Mrs. Wendy, Makerspace Manager, facilitate the Art Build.
Myself along with Brian Vasquez-Verdin one of the Founding Fathers of the Milwaukee Alliance Against Racist and Political Represssion (Maarpr) and other members of our teams will also be there to support families as they create. Bring photos, keepsakes, and memories. All arts and crafts supplies will be provided.
ProsperME INC. programs are supported by a grant from the Greater Milwaukee Foundation. Thank you Milwaukee Public Library for partnering to host this meaningful event! See yall at the maker's space.
