Join us on Friday 18 October for a free local history event for adults - Stoke-on-Trent: A Potted History. Where: Stoke Library (Stoke Local Service Centre, South Wolfe Street, ST4 4SZ)
When: Friday 18 October, 7pm (doors open from 6.30pm)
Join Jenna Goodwin, The Red Haired Stokie, for an engaging talk on Stoke-on-Trent's long and varied history!
Discover the fascinating journey of how the city came to be, as Jenna explores the stories and events that shaped its formation.
With the centenary of Stoke-on-Trent’s city status approaching next year, this is the perfect opportunity to delve into its past, celebrating the heritage and resilience of our local community.
We will also be joined by Nat Willatt from Art UK who will be sharing some information about local works of art and Art UK's Tagger project.
And finally, as part of the Living Heritage Fund, we are asking you to share your memories of growing up in Stoke-on-Trent.
