Stockport ‘Your Futures’ Fair

As a partnership between Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council and The Pledge, we are proud to host a Your Futures event that celebrates and supports young people, whatever their background, ability or individual needs.

This inclusive event will provide guidance, opportunities and inspiration for:

- Young people with any additional needs or barriers to education, training or employment.

- Anyone seeking information, advice and support to explore their next steps and build confidence about their future.

Hosted on Thursday, 30th April at Cheadle College, the fair will follow a similar format to standard careers fairs, with students and parents/ carers from Stockport secondary schools, colleges and specialist providers invited to attend, as well as those not in education.

The event is taking place from 15:00-17:30.

Students and parents/ carers will have the chance to meet employers, training organisations and support services – and take part in interactive and accessible activities. We will also be showcasing Supported Internships as an opportunity for young people with additional needs to consider.
