Stock Selection Guide (SSG) Bootcamp Feb/Mar 2025 (3 Sat starting 2/22/25)

Join BI Houston Chapter as we walk through the tool step by step and answer all your questions. The tool is elegant yet can be intimating, but it is one of the most effective tools you can use when selecting quality growth companies.

We will guide you to answer these questions:

• What is BetterInvesting’s Methodology?

• How can I identify a quality growth company?

• Has the company’s management been effective with its resources?

• Is the company trading at a reasonable price?

• What is my potential long-term gain in investing in this stock?

You will get the answers through a series and hands on exercises studying real companies. You will use premium tools such as SSG Plus, Value Line, Morning Star and Manifesting Investing. All of which we will access live within the series.

This is a live series and there will be no recordings, however, students will receive complete handouts and will have ample opportunities to ask questions.

The cost for one year Plus Membership of BetterInvesting is $89 (regularly $120). Cost of Manifest Investing is $40 for one year. Memberships in both programs include all benefits and features. Both can be cancelled within 30 days with money back guarantee.

Together we will complete multiple SSGs using the SSG Plus tool in an interactive session on three consecutive Saturdays from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm:

• February 22nd where we will discuss how to find appropriate material to fill up a Stock Selection Guide (SSG)

• March 1st where we will discuss Forecasting Growth using Trend Analysis and Evaluating Management

• March 8th where we will discuss Valuation High & Low P/E and Valuation Risk & Reward

In addition to in class presentations there will be interactive exercises and homework.

This series is the primary fund raiser for the nonprofit BI Houston Chapter. The chapter uses the proceeds for chapter programming, education, and outreach programs. By signing up for the class you are helping yourself and your fellow investors.
