DESCRIPTION:
In genealogy, whether you are stuck or not, questions lead to new evidence. We’ll review how to ask and answer additional questions to solve problems. And you may discover that the approach for each ancestor will differ, even if the question is identical! As we work together during the class, we’ll try to address everyone’s questions.
Participants should plan ahead and do the following three things:
Carefully read the handout before coming. Access the handout at: https://stlgs.org/education/classes/current-stlgs-classes.
Bring at least one question with you about one ancestor.
Use the example in the handout on page 2 to create a concise timeline of that ancestor’s events with sources.
