Designed for crafters who already know the basics, this relaxed session guides you step-by-step through bringing your very own plush stuffed animal to life. Beyond learning the techniques of amigurumi shaping and assembly, you'll enjoy a light, social atmosphere perfect for chatting with fellow makers and tuning into your creative rhythm.

All materials—yarn, hooks, stuffing, and notions—are fully provided. Bring your existing crochet foundation; we’ll handle the rest!

Guest Teacher Bio

My name is Katlynn, I am a mom of 3 beautiful children. I was taught the basics of crochet when I was little by my mom and pick the crochet hook back up during Covid. I started off making blankets with the basics and then self taught myself how to make stuffed animals and amigurumi. I am excited to spread my knowledge and tricks I have learned over the years and having a fun time!

Classes at Thrifty Connections intended for adults and suitable for individuals 16+.

All ticket sales are final. As a small business, we operate with limited class capacity. Classes require advance planning, preparation time, and the gathering of materials and supplies. Because of our limited capacity, we are typically unable to refill seats or recover the costs associated with cancellations. For these reasons, all class ticket purchases are final and non-refundable.
