Join us for the first part of a 5-part series on learning how to crochet! We will meet on Saturday, January 18 at 10:00 am at the Rogers Public Library. Adults and teens welcome! In this beginners' session, we will go over the absolute basics of crochet:
How to hold the hook and yarn.
How to create a chain stitch.
How to create a single crochet stitch.
How and when to use stitch markers.
The session will end with an easy project that you can take home - a simple square made of single crochet stitches.
Yarn, hooks, and stitch markers will be available for attendees to use in limited quantities. We highly recommend bringing your own supplies that you are comfortable with, as it will make learning how to crochet, and sticking with it, much easier!
