A new class by Master Artisan Lori.
The Stitch Club Class is designed to help more people learn new stitches to expand their beading experience and build a good foundation of beading knowledge.
Each month a new stitch will be highlighted, this month we will learn the Odd Count Peyote stitch.
The stitch refers to starting with an “odd” number of beads when you add row one & two together.
It’s very important to learn if you want something to be centered in the pattern. Peyote can be a difficult stitch to start but you will learn, “Lori’s Way” of starting the stitch, which has been fool proof so far.
Once you get the hang of the stitch you will really enjoy it.
It can also be a prerequisite for many other more difficult Odd Count Peyote based stitches.
You will go home with written instructions to refer to after you have left the class, I always recommend you make more than one to reinforce what you have learned.
This is a basic stitch that you can build on and a must for all beading levels.
PREREQUISITS: Needle & Thread
TOOLS: Bead Mat, Fireline, Size 10 Needle, Beeswax thread condition
