Saxophonist - Tom Braxton
Tom Braxton, international Billboard charting jazz saxophonist has garnered critical acclaim while thrilling audiences of all ages from coast to coast and abroad for over two decades and has released ten CDs. Braxton’s distinct, melodic sound leaves audiences astounded, clapping, and on their feet screaming for more! That's why Jazz Review calls Braxton "one of smooth jazz's most prolific saxophonists...with all the required tools to become a major force."
Tom has released two singles from his upcoming CD, “FlashBack” set to drop in 2025. In the summer of 2023, he released his hit single, “Hub City Jam” featuring Rick Braun. This lively funky groove, produced by Blake Aaron, was inspired by his love for his hometown of Lubbock, TX and received widespread recognition on the smooth jazz charts. In his latest single, “Canyon Dreams”, Braxton captures the calm and relaxing vista behind his childhood home. The lilting melody and infectious groove are designed to inspire the listener to reflect and dream.
For 17 years, Tom toured extensively with Wayman Tisdale as his Musical Director. Braxton has shared the stage with many great artists including Dave Koz, Rick Braun, Peter White, Brian Culbertson, Marcus Miller, Candy Dulfer, Warren Hill, Bob James, Lee Ritenour, Paul Brown, Paul Jackson Jr., George Duke, Kirk Whalum, Jonathan Butler, Jeff Golub, Norman Brown, Sheila E., Aretha Franklin, Luther Vandross, and Philip Bailey.

Vocalist & Trumpeter - Ilya Serov
Russian-born Ilya Serov is a classically trained jazz musician whose passion for swing and soul has captivated audiences worldwide. A graduate of the prestigious St. Petersburg Conservatory, Serov discovered jazz as a teen in Saratov and followed his dream to the U.S., where he’s quickly earned acclaim from legends like Dave Koz, Poncho Sanchez, and Roger Kellaway.
His debut album September in the Rain (2013) introduced his smooth vocals and crisp trumpet tone. His follow-up, Back in Time (2018), is a dazzling homage to the Big Band era, featuring timeless classics and high-profile collaborations. Highlights include “Swing 42” and “L-O-V-E” with Kellaway, “Tangerine” with Sanchez, “Old Devil Moon” featuring Eric Marienthal, and a sultry reimagining of “C’est Si Bon.” The album showcases Serov’s interpretive depth and musical finesse, drawing inspiration from icons like Nat “King” Cole, Frank Sinatra, Chet Baker, and Miles Davis.
“Ilya’s project is commercial enough for the mainstream to enjoy but it’s hip enough for the jazz folks too,” says Sanchez. “He can sing the tunes and play them. That’s the edge he’s got.”
Serov’s live performances are equally impressive. He’s graced the stage on the Dave Koz and Friends at Sea Jazz Cruise, sharing it with stars like Michael Lington, David Benoit, Larry Graham, Peter White, and Jonathan Butler. In 2019, he returned as a special guest alongside Tower of Power, Bebe Winans, and Gerald Albright.
With a growing fanbase, a slate of tour dates, and exciting new projects in the works, Ilya Serov is poised to leave a lasting mark on the jazz world—one note at a time.

Benefiting the National Multicultural Western Heritage Museum
ABOUT THE NATIONAL MULTICULTURAL WESTERN HERITAGE MUSEUM
Founded in 2001, the Museum acknowledges the multicultural contributions of Hispanic Americans, Native Americans, European Americans, Asian and African Americans in the settlement of the American frontier. Works of artists and others who documented people and events of the time via journals, photographs, and other historical items are part of the museum's collection of overlooked materials that tell, often for the first time, our complete story. Through various educational programs (e.g., storytelling sessions, "Forgotten Cowboys Tour," cultural heritage workshops, historical reenactments, participatory learning, and hybrid programming) at the museum and in the community, the Museum shares our multicultural western heritage while instilling positive values of diversity, tolerance, hard-work, and determination. Visitors to the Museum and at our traveling exhibitions leave with an awareness that the American West came into being through the struggles and triumphs of racially and socio-economically diverse people.
, our recent effort to raise funds for our relocation and exhibit preservation.
