Navarr has decided, the National Assembly has voted overwhelmingly for war. Stridings are no longer walking the trods and preparations are underway to raise more armies. News of the decision is carried to every striding and steading, war is coming and destiny calls.
Far removed from the politics and debates of the nation, in the shadow of the Western mountains of Hercynia, lies the insular steading of Questors View. Messages are sent informing the Vate of this news, only to return with rebukes and threats of hostility.
Curious of the response to this message the Local magistrate makes the decision to visit the Steading. Now the magistrates return is overdue. Is their disappearance any indication of something more sinister?
