Still life observational drawing/painting 6 x 2hrs adult art workshops.

Observational drawing & painting through still life. Based on the development of techniques in dry and wet media with artist Katie Sandison.

This six session course is based on developing an understanding of the seven elements of art .

Each student will explore dry and wet media with observational drawing techniques which include drawing on the right side of the brain with painting still life as the main topic.

Registered Art teacher for over 22 years and painter Katie Sandison will give clear ways to learn painting and drawing techniques with understanding how the seven elements of art can be developed and used in art practices.

If you want to discover ways to create interesting and vibrant still live compositions and are open to learn in a small and supportive art studio then this is the class for you. Beginners are welcome.

All materials are supplied.

4-5-23 Drawing on the right side of the brain-painting leaving a white space White wax resist paintin.

17-5-23 Dry media charcoal and pastels the basic shapes.

31-5-23 Bottles in prisma pencils.

14-6-23 Sun flowers and bright flowers in mix-media

28-6-23 Drawing favourite class object in lead pencil.

12-7-23 Pointillism painting small strokes to create a final composition.

Class has a minimum of 4 students to run and maximum of 10 . Teacher will contact each student of the class is to be postponed to a future time . This event has no refunds.
