Still Life, After Life: Women Disrupting Tradition in Art and Music

The event, “Still Life, After Life: Women Disrupting Tradition in Art and Music,” will take place at the Catharine Clark Gallery in San Francisco’s Potrero Hill neighborhood on October 15 and 17, 2025.

The Catharine Clark Gallery, among the leading West Coast contemporary art galleries, will feature exhibitions by the artists Lenka Clayton, Katherine Vetne, and Nanci Amaka.

Violinists Craig Reiss and Mariya Borozina, violinist Emily Liu, cellist Peter Myers, and oboist Ben Brogadir will be joined by current Adler Fellow, baritone Olivier Zerouali, in works by Jesse Montgomery, Joan Tower, Dmitry Shostakovich, Missy Mazzoli and Caroline Shaw.

The musical program will begin at 6:30pm on Wednesday, 10/15, and 7:30pm on Friday, 10/17.
