About this Event
Event: Stichting VIA is excited to present our local event: Volunteering, Connecting, and Peace Work. This event is focused on engaging in conversations around peace, intercultural understanding, and critical thinking on voluntarism. The goal of this event is for future volunteers and current volunteers to meet, share information, exchange knowledge and experiences. It’s also a chance for you to discover the global impact of SCI’s activities and learn how you can get involved in volunteering and what opportunities are available.
Topic: Are volunteering and the International Voluntary Service still useful and relevant? What does volunteering and peace work mean to you? Come learn about Service Civil International SCI, a non-governmental (NGO), a volunteer organization dedicated to promoting a culture of peace by organising international voluntary projects for people of all ages and backgrounds.
When: Saturday, 5 November 2022
