Learn about the Stibnite Gold Project from Perpetua Resources Permitting Manager, Dale Kerner.
About this Event

In September 2016, Stibnite re-entered the public consciousness; a century-old, battered war-hero with a visionary plan for ecologic restoration of legacy environmental impacts. Fueled by the prospect of renewed mining of gold, silver, and its namesake critical mineral resource stibnite (antimony sulfide), guided by modern reclamation and restoration objectives, and supported by robust study, modeling and design, the Stibnite Gold Project continues to proceed through the rigorous challenges of federal, state and local approval and permitting processes. As Perpetua Resources’ flagship project completes its 7th year of environmental review, an imminent Final EIS and Record of Decision set the stage for realizing one of Idaho’s most innovative and crucial mining projects. Join this lecture to learn about the Stibnite Gold Project and Perpetua Resources’ visionary plan to mine, reclaim and restore the historic Stibnite mining district.
