Stevie Rae Stephens & Kiernan McMullan

Stevie Rae Stephens and Kiernan McMullan, both Nashville transplants, met in passing six years before evolving from cowriters to friends to bandmates to fiancés. Kiernan McMullan, an Americana-Soul singer-songwriter raised between Boston and Ireland, has played over 2,000 shows across the US and Europe and has release numerous full-length records and EPs since touring the country starting at the age of 18. Stevie Rae Stephens, a singer-songwriter with pop and soul influences from the vineyards of Northern California, has competed vocally for most of her early years and after receiving her Master’s of Music in Songwriting, released multiple albums. Their story begins in a small, local Nashville songwriter bar, Belcourt Taps, where they booked the weekend music while they bartended. From these humble beginnings of booking their friends and collaborators to play original music for the small audience, they built a renowned night of music called Pindrop Songwriter Series! Set apart by its high bar for talent and artistry, Pindrop is a listening room environment where a distinguished collective of songwriters find inspiration, motivation, encouragement and, most importantly, community. You can find both songwriters playing regularly at various venues in Nashville and across the country.
