Steve Pilgrim is a songwriter, musician and performer whose career spans more than two decades of global touring, recording and unforgettable live shows. From his early days as drummer with Liverpool's much loved Bandwagon era outfit The Stands, alongside contemporaries such as The Coral and The Zutons, Steve quickly established himself as a musician of rare depth and versatility before going on to work with John Power and Cast. For Redditch Revival audiences, this is a rare opportunity to see one of music's most respected and well connected figures in an intimate setting.
As a solo artist and singer-songwriter, Steve has released six studio albums, including his latest record, Let The Love Be Found, which has already earned praise from fellow musicians and critics alike. His songwriting carries the timeless spirit of classic 60s acoustic folk and pop, while speaking honestly to the realities of modern life, love and everything in between. The result is music that feels both nostalgic and strikingly current, with songs filled with warmth, reflection and real human feeling.
For more than 18 years, Steve has also been a key part of Paul Weller's touring band, contributing vocals, acoustic guitar and drums on stages around the world. Along the way he has shared performances with legendary names including Noel Gallagher, Johnny Marr, Corinne Bailey Rae, Jools Holland, Tom Jones, The Who and Kelly Jones, experiences that have shaped him into the magnetic live performer audiences know today.
When Steve Pilgrim steps onto a stage, there is an immediacy and connection that draws a room completely in. His voice carries a soulful richness, while his guitar work and songwriting combine with a quiet confidence that makes every song land with real emotional weight.
Praised by leading voices in music and media, Steve has been described as "the music industry's best kept secret" by Dylan Jones, while Paul Weller himself called him "one of the great understated modern songsmiths." It is exactly that understated brilliance that makes his live shows feel so special.
Now Steve brings that same honesty, musicianship and atmosphere to The Hart for what promises to be a truly memorable night. With special support from Andy Bennett of Ocean Colour Scene adding even more appeal, tickets are expected to be in high demand, so this is definitely one to book early and look forward to.

Andy Bennett joins the night as special guest in support of Steve Pilgrim, bringing with him the kind of pedigree and stage presence that makes arriving early an absolute must.
Best known as a songwriter, guitarist and backing singer with Ocean Colour Scene, Andy joined the band in 2004 as guitarist and backing singer and went on to spend more than a decade touring and recording with them, performing on stages across the world.
This is a rare chance to catch an artist of his calibre in such an intimate room, so it's well worth securing your ticket early.
During his time with Ocean Colour Scene, Andy appeared on several of the band's albums and live releases, including A Hyperactive Workout for the Flying Squad, On the Leyline and Saturday. He also co-wrote Old Pair of Jeans, which featured on the band's 2010 album Saturday.
His first show with the band took place at the legendary Royal Albert Hall, the perfect beginning to an eleven year run with one of Britain's most respected guitar bands.
Before joining Ocean Colour Scene, Andy had already built a strong reputation on the Midlands music scene with his band The Elements, earning a loyal following and supporting Ocean Colour Scene at shows around the region.
Since leaving the band in 2015, Andy has focused on his own songwriting and solo career. His 2016 debut solo album Thinkin', Drinkin', Singin' showcased his gift for melody and his love of classic British guitar music, with standout tracks including Fool No More, Hole in the Road and Baby Blue.
Live, Andy strips everything back to voice, guitar and beautifully crafted songs. His solo performances are relaxed, engaging and full of stories from years on the road, creating exactly the kind of atmosphere that suits a room like The Hart.
Seeing Andy Bennett in Redditch, supporting Steve Pilgrim in front of just fifty people, is exactly the kind of night Revival was made for. Intimate, personal and all about the music.
With such limited capacity, this one is likely to sell quickly, so booking sooner rather than later is definitely the best move.
