Singer-songwriter Steve Eaton is an Idaho gem: a Governor’s Award recipient for his contributions to the arts, a favorite among music fans statewide, and quite possibly the coolest guy in the room. As a songwriter, his work has been recorded by Art Garfunkel, The Carpenters, The Righteous Brothers, Glen Campbell, and Anne Murray, and he’s released music as a recording artist with Capitol Records and RCA Records. His career has taken him around the world, including headline performances at the Taichung Jazz Festival in Taiwan and the Bing Crosby Celebrity Golf Tournament for crowds of more than 10,000.

Backed by The Grateful Dudes, Eaton leads what is often described as an Idaho supergroup—five of the state’s top musicians, four of whom are lead vocalists. Together they deliver a personal, genre-spanning mix of blues, jazz, Americana, funk, classic rock, country, and soul, shaped by decades of experience performing across the U.S. and overseas.

With the purchase of a ticket, Sapphire guests are eligible for The Riverside Hotel's "Sapphire Getaway" for $179 + tax. This rate is available for the night of the Sapphire Room show and includes a standard hotel room (double occupancy) and breakfast for two the following morning.
