MEET THE ARTISTS:
EDU SAN
Eduardo Sanchez, born in Montevideo, began to be captivated by electronic music around 2013, attending the Phonotheque club.
After several years on the dance floor, he started collecting records in 2018. An unwavering vinyl enthusiast, his sets traverse techno, house, electro, and breakbeat with acid undertones and hypnotic, deep sounds. His dynamic and timeless mixes blend contemporary vibes with echoes of the ‘90s.
Having graced the decks of top underground clubs in Uruguay and South America, such as
Phonotheque, Emile Club, and Living Club, duardo is the curator of the RhythmCrew project in Uruguay and Analog Future in New Zealand. He has shared the stage with legends like Dj Koolt, DJ Detected, Christian, Manu Jelen, Alejo and others. His main influences include his mentor DJ Koolt, Omar, Nicolas Lutz, and DJ Detected.
RANITA QUAKER
Born in Montevideo, Uruguay, Ranita Quaker began the art of DJing in 2013. A great enthusiast in record collecting, vinyl is his preferred format for mixing.
His sounds mainly vary between house, tech house, and techno, traversing all their variants without being confined to a particular style, with groove, acid, and the sounds of the '90s and 2000s serving as the link between his mixes.
In his home country, he has played in places like El Living, El Ciclo (after), Interludio, and has shared the booth with referent DJs such as Alejo (Emilie), Deejason (ARG), Matías Muten, Marcos Coya, and DJ Koolt, for example.
Having taken his first steps in the underground scene, nowadays he is carrying out his own project in the Bay of Plenty, Analog Future, with which he seeks to promote the same essence he found on the dance floor in the Uruguayan electronic movement.
ANA TELES
Brazilian export Ana Teles is an emergent artist who has been building a stellar reputation in Aotearoa’s electronic dance music scene. Despite a career still in its early stages, she already exhibits the traits of an astute selector and has rapidly gained recognition, sharing the stage with notable names such as Per Hammar (SE), Silat Beksi (UA), Steve Bug (GER), Barbuto (AUS), Nick Reverse (ITA) and with performances spanning New Zealand's clubs and festivals, from Shipwrecked Festival and Silent Studios to Ink Bar, Il Brutto, Whammy Bar, Adrift Festival, and more.
With an emphasis on a curiosity for electronic music from an early age, she has been engulfed with inspiration after years of being immersed in the vibrant backdrop of the Aussie and Brazilian music scenes, finding her sets to be distinguished by driving grooves, deep and hypnotic with positive energies simultaneously. Skillfully weaving through house, minimal, techno, breakbeats, and deep house, her versatility turns around to be a showcase of her international storytelling.
Ana continues a path along one of diligence, refinement and exploration, knowing that perfecting her craft and musical development is a never-ending process, making her upcoming gigs all the more interesting for both crowd and artist alike.
