About this Event
Stepping Into Retirement: Goals, Purpose, and Life After Work
Retirement isn’t just a financial decision; it’s a major life transition. Many people find that once the career structure falls away, questions about identity, purpose, and how to use their time become just as important as questions about income. If you’re wondering what life after work will really look like for you, this workshop is for you.
Join Boise Retirement Coach, Peggy Farnworth, CPA, CFP, CSA, in-person as she guides you through key questions to consider about how you want to spend your time, what gives you meaning, and how your money can support the life you envision. We’ll discuss helpful financial tools and behaviors - like retirement accounts, HSAs, Social Security choices, debt decisions, and healthy habits - and how they connect with your goals, priorities, and well-being in retirement.
This session is educational and free to attend– no products will be sold. Whether you’re nearing retirement or already there, we’ll help you think beyond the numbers so you can design a retirement that feels purposeful and personally fulfilling.
This workshop is the third of a three-part retirement workshop series at Library! at Bown Crossing, and you’re welcome to attend on its own or combine it with the sessions on Social Security and tax-smart planning for a more complete picture of retirement.
