7:00pm: Concert and Siddur Dedication
8:30pm: Post-Concert Reception
Join us for a multimedia evening of song, liturgy, art and drama that will take us on a journey through time, space, memorial and healing.
Together, we will engage in communal, ritual steps and reflection to process the pandemic as experienced over the last two years, and to enter this next phase with all that it entails. We will unveil art pieces by Adas Israel resident artists, celebrate Shabbat Shirah with transformative music, experience original theater inspired by our congregants’ pandemic experiences, and dedicate our novel Siddur of Reentry. Concert performers and collaborators include Theater J, Cantor Arianne Brown, Micah Hendler, Flash Choir, and top DC musicians.
The art installation, concert and siddur are supported by the Covenant Foundation grant.
Can't make it in person? Join us on livestream at adasisrael.org/stepping-back-in-livestream.
