The annual Step Up for Little Friends walk, presented by Discover, brings together our community for a family-friendly morning to support the mission of Little Friends. Proceeds from this annual event will benefit Little Friends, Inc. and our programs that provide more than 900 people, and their families, with diagnostics, therapies, education, counseling, housing, vocational training, and much more. Plan to join us with your friends and family as we gather for this year’s walk at St. James Farm in Warrenville on Sunday, October 17. Check in will open at 8:30 at the east entrace of the forest preserve with the walk kick off at 9:30 am.
Founded in 1965, Little Friends serves more than 900 people each year throughout the Chicagoland area. It is the mission of Little Friends to empower people of all ages experiencing autism, intellectual and emotional disabilities, and their families to live, learn, work and thrive in their communities.
