We are delighted to announce our SCD and step technique day!
The morning session is Scottish Step, taught by Cathy Queen. This session is suitable for beginners or people who love Scottish Step and want to polish their skills while (and potentially learn a new dance!). Cathy has an infectious love for Scottish Step and a special skill in breaking it down so it is accessible for all. If you haven't tried step dancing now is your chance! It will be a fun and friendly class.
The afternoon is a Scottish Country Dance Technique day led by David Queen who is passionate about dancers developing their skills whatever their level. This class is designed primarily for Intermediate level and above (do ask if you are not sure, a desire to develop is the most important criteria!). A great opportunity to have more focussed time improving footwork and other dance skills.
We are delighted to have the wonderful Andrew Lyon playing for us and we'll finish the day with a good hearted social dance.
You are welcome to book for either session or for the whole day. Do get in touch for further information or to book a place.

Costs: Price per session £8. Price for whole day £15
