The Festival is committed to providing experiential science, technology, engineering, math and arts activities to diverse populations in Potrero Hill and beyond. Over the last year there has been tremendous learning loss for kids and increasing gaps in inequity. Isolation and inactivity became familiar states for too many.
STEM Saturday's mission is to create a fun, free, hybrid (in-person + virtual) festival experience for kids and families to further develop their love of learning and hone in on their skills and talents in STEM related fields. There are so many innovators, experts and leaders in this city and we hope that this event will open their eyes to that reality to cultivate the next generation of STEM leaders.
