Join Girl Scouts and community partners for a day of STEM exploration and hands on fun for the whole family. Girl Scouts will explore science, technology, engineering, and math through interactive activities led by local STEM organizations and professionals.Activities include:
• Make your own Girl Scout slime with Sloomoo
• Play brain games with UIC’s Flame Lab
• Explore women in tech with Vision 1948
• Discover engineering with the American Society of Civil Engineers
• Meet professionals from the Society of Women Engineers
• Explore nature and conservation with the Will County Forest Preserve
• Learn robotics and engineering with a local robotics team
• Try hands on STEM engineering kits with Civil Air Patrol and learn about aviation careers
