STEM Explorers Club for Kids, Ages 5-12: Create an Outstanding Orbit

Come join us at Deja Brew for a fun-filled hour of learning and exploration! Our STEM Explorers Club is the perfect place for kids ages 5-12 to dive into the exciting world of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).

In this session, we'll be focusing on creating a MagLev train that can move through the track. Kids will have the chance to create their own designs by using various materials and learn all about the science behind magnets.

Parents must stay on the premises of Deja Brew throughout the duration of the session.

Upon arrival, a liability waiver will be signed. (We'll be using basic craft supplies, nothing crazy, but we want to make sure we cover our bases!)

Class sessions run for an hour and children will learn background knowledge about the topic, build the challenge, then make connections with STEM careers. With the cost of the program, all materials will be provided and taken home at the end, along with a family guide with extension and connection opportunities.
