About this Event
Looking for new and interesting ways to get your students engaged? Or, do you just like having fun with science? It's hard to think of a better way to rejuvenate your spirits than to attend a summer camp just for teachers. This exciting, hands-on workshop will help STEM educators turn their usual science units into interactive lessons for students. Participants will learn to use tools like drills, saws, soldering irons, Cricuts, and laser cutters and make educational objects like telescopes, rocket launchers, Arduino-powered houses, and more to enhance your classroom projects.
This is an opportunity for educators to go more in-depth with STEM topics and perhaps step outside their comfort zones and generate some fresh new ideas that they can use back in their classrooms. You will spend three high-energy days with like-minded educators digging deeper into MakerEd and project-based learning models to enhance your existing curriculum. Lots of hands-on! Lots of fun! Breakfast and lunch! And all for the low cost of only $200! Plus, if you bring a friend, you will both save $50. (Both parties must register at the same time to qualify for the discounted price.)
