About this Event
Join Us for Stella Standingbear – Off the Rez Tour Featuring Special Guest Bobby Sanchez
Join us for a powerful evening of music and Indigenous artistry as Stella Standingbear brings her Off the Rez Tour to New York City with special guest Bobby Sanchez.
Stella Standingbear is a Native American rapper, singer, and songwriter making history at the intersection of Indigenous culture and contemporary hip-hop. An enrolled member of the Oglala Lakota Nation, her music blends melodic alt-rap, R&B, and pop over alternative trap beats while centering themes of healing, empowerment, identity, and social justice.
Her breakout single “Home Runs” reached #1 on the NCI FM Indigenous Music Countdown on SiriusXM and became a viral anthem across TikTok — uplifting dreamers, survivors, and anyone who has ever had to prove the odds wrong. In 2023, she became the first Lakota artist to win at the International Indigenous Hip-Hop Awards, earning Best Female Hip-Hop Artist and Music Video of the Year.
Beyond the stage, Stella is also a passionate advocate for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW), using her platform to uplift Indigenous voices, community healing, and the next generation.
Special guest Bobby Sanchez is a Two-Spirit poet, musician, model, painter, and personal trainer whose work explores Indigenous identity, environmental justice, LGBTQ+ liberation, and collective healing. Bobby has performed at NYC Pride, Oakland Pride, Tulsa Pride, and the National Poetry Slam, while building a multidisciplinary body of work rooted in truth-telling, resistance, and self-expression.
