🎼Soloist Francesca Hurst plays her concert of various NOCTURNES! Listeners have described her playing as “moving and compelling” and “powerful yet sensitive”, and The Washington Post praised her “quicksilver passagework” and “tender lyricism”. Nocturnes offer intimate music —often evocative of the evening. Francesca will include beautiful descriptions of each composer’s approach, from Chopin to Debussy to more contemporary composers, and some with poetry.
