Oktoberfest is coming up and what better way celebrate than by making your own stein!
Come join us at Clay Studio 1242 for a fun and creative event where you can make your very own hand-built stein!
Located at 1242 Main St, our studio provides all the materials you need to create a unique and personalized mug.
You will start with raw clay and work through shaping, texturing and decorating your one-of-a-kind masterpiece! Whether you're a beginner or an experienced potter, our instructors will guide you through the process. This in-person event is a great way to unleash your creativity and make something special to enjoy your favorite beverages in. This is amazingly fun for everyone, and a great way to try out pottery!
Don't miss out on this opportunity to get your hands dirty and have a blast making your own functional stein!
Things to bring - items to make textures, cookie cutters, circuit stencils (small), and loads of creativity!
Your finished stein will be food and dish washer safe! It will also hold 16oz - plus some room!
You will pick from a large selection of our studio glazes and we do the firings and glazing for you. Turn around time for your piece is 4-6 weeks.
Ages 14+ please
Limited to 10 participants. Please double check the number of spots available at checkout. We cannot add extra people into the event - we need to make sure everyone has a comfortable amount of space to work :)
Feel free to bring light snacks and drinks!
There is plenty of parking to the back of the building & the main entrance is off Main Street.
We will offer refunds up to 24hrs before the event. We will also be more than happy to find an alternate date for you to come in if an emergency comes up. We get it, life happens!
** ALLERGEN WARNING - we have studio cats! We clean before and after each class, but we cannot guarantee a completely allergen free zone **
