Iced tea should be much more than a sad bottle of sugary brown liquid from the back of a fridge.
Join us for a relaxed tasting class exploring the world of proper iced tea — the leaves, the methods, the flavours, and the little tricks that make the difference between “cold tea” and something genuinely delicious.
We’ll taste a range of iced tea styles, from bright black teas and delicate green teas to herbal infusions, fruit-led blends and cold brews. We’ll look at how different tea leaves behave when chilled, how brewing time and temperature change the final drink, and how to balance sweetness, acidity, fruit, herbs and ice.
You’ll learn different ways to make iced tea at home, including hot brew, cold brew and quick serve methods, plus ideas for batching, garnishing and pairing with food.
No tea knowledge needed — just come thirsty and curious.
