Steeljoy create genre-spanning bittersweet melodies with hard-hitting lyrics in English, Irish (Gaeilge) and Gàidhlig exploring the intersectional issues of misogyny, gender, class, discrimination, environmental destruction and more. Performing live as an energetic all women and non-binary band; Jen, Jenny, JP and Caroline, with multiple upcoming dates, and recently including as Scottish support to Seattle-based band Atrocity Girl on their UK tour.Steeljoy album ‘All Us On Fire’ released Apr 2024 to critical acclaim and nominated for the Scottish Album of The Year Award.
