The New Haven Symphony Orchestra returns to live music performances with Concert at the Canal Dock Boathouse on the New Haven waterfront this spring and summer. These concerts will feature musicians from the New Haven Symphony Orchestra and guest artists performing in small, socially-distanced ensembles outdoors at the Canal Dock Boathouse on Long Wharf Drive in New Haven.The Performers:

Kenneth Joseph, steel pan
The Music:
Classical and calypso music for strings and steel pan, including:
Vivaldi: “Winter” from Four Seasons
Massenet: “Meditation” from Thais
Montgomery: Banner

Although no event can be risk-free during this pandemic, we are taking every precaution possible to ensure the safety of our audience, musicians, and staff. What to Expect:
• A casual, one-hour concert outdoors on the New Haven waterfront
• A small ensemble of musicians
• Audience members of all ages
• New England weather is beautiful but unpredictable. Please dress accordingly and be prepared for a variety of temperatures and precipitation.
• There is street parking surrounding the Boathouse and free overflow parking available in the north end of the Sports Haven Parking lot on Long Wharf Drive.
• Chairs will be provided.
